Some Christmas Time fun!
Thanks for making our very 1st m2m Christmas brunch such an amazing success! Stacey and her hubby Jonathan were a stupendous duo opening for the acclaimed Cora Alley! Thanks to both of you for sharing your talent, love, support, and energy with m2m. Cora Alley was amazing to hear. She taught us how to manage the Labor Pains and Birth of the "Good News" in such an inspiring way. I know we all took home something fabulous...here are a few highlights of our 1st annual Christmas brunch...

Deck the halls!
Well, Turkey Day has passed and it is officially time to start the mad dash towards Christmas! Fall decor has come down and Christmas is all around. I don't know about you, but I have been preparing for Christmas for months now. I say that because preparing for Christmas takes a long long time in our house! We make our own wrapping paper, design homemade gifts galore, and we even make a few decorations each year to add to our collection. We use these elemnts to teach our children the true meaning of Christmas. It forces us to slow down, sit, and teach. It helps us relish the holiday for what it really is...
Join us on Thursday December 2nd at 9:30am to learn some tips and trick for a fabulous homemade Christmas. Don't get discouraged, there is something for everyone ;)

Thanksgiving Devotion
Celebration of Devine Goodness
According to the Merriam Webster’s dictionary, Celebration of Devine Goodness is one of the definitions of Thanksgiving. Devine. Ponder that word, Devine; superhuman, Godlike, heavenly, perfect, being in the service or worship of a deity. Humm, thanksgiving is looking a little different now; isn’t it?
Most of us are hoping no one will ask us what we are thankful for this year. It has been fairly dismal for most of us if we look at it without thanksgiving, without devine goodness. Have you lost your job? Lost a loved one? Lost your home? Lost a child to the world? Moved away from your family? Are you tired? Is that what your focus is on?
In order to be thankful, we have to remember what God is doing in our lives; what devine goodness is.
One, we are daughters of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Really! How can you not be thankful for that! Like my mentor friend likes to say, “There we have it. Done deal!” Sounds easy enough, but we have to live here on this earth and sometimes we just have a hard time remembering what we are thankful for.
How can we celebrate Devine Goodness?
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Be joyful always; pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”
Wouldn’t it be fun to make a Thanksgiving box this year and put it out for the whole year somewhere easy to get to and always in sight, and each time you
(or anyone in the family) has something to be thankful for, you write it down and stick it in the box. Then next Thanksgiving open that box at the table and have everyone read all the devine goodness that has been poured out on you all year.
Just think of the memories you’ll make and how pleasing to God it will be when he hears you praising, worshiping and thanking Him at your Celebration of Devine Goodness year after year.
Ephesians 5:20 “always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Celebrate! "Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. 1Chronicles 16:8-9; May God bless each of you with the most amazing Celebration of Devine Goodness.

Coffee Cozy Craft day . . .
Proverbs 31:13 says;
"She selects wool and flax
and works with eager hands."
And so shall we at m2m on Thursday October 21st!
Let's enjoy a hot breakfast, a quick devotion, some fellowship, and some crafting! We will be making some pretty fabulous coffee cozys to set the tone for fall and winter. These little ditties are a fabulous addition to any girls (especially the mammas with youngins) coffee date (or in my current case TEA)! What a great gift to yourself or someone you love and admire . . . And they are super "multitaskingly functional." They make the person using it feel uber special, they are "green," and they keep those sweet hands safe from that hot beverage! Oh and did I mention you will totally have Starbucks gushing over your gear!
So Join us on October 21st at 9:30 am for all this goodness!

Being your Hubby's girlfriend!
...I found the one my heart loves, I held him and would not let him go.
~Song of Songs 3:4
Remember those days of romance when you were dating and first married? Remember when your hubby opened the door for you on dates and it was so sweet? Well, fast forward to now and romance is when he buckles the kids in the car seats for you and you just get into the car. Bottles, homework, baths, and midnight feedings have taken your romance hostage!! Now what? We have to make a choice now to put our husbands and our marriage first. No alone time? How about sneaking past your kids' room with a couple of ice cream sundaes to eat in bed and catch up on the day? Romance has a different definition now, but it can endure. Please join me on Oct. 7th to learn together what the bible shows us what a Christian marriage can look like and why it is just so fun to be your husbands girlfriend again!
