Fall Craft and a Chick Flick!

We are taking reservations at m2m for a fabulous Moms night out! We will be making some totally chic monogram totes and then taking part in a fabulous chick flick. There will be snacks and treats available and we also have childcare for a nominal fee. Please be sure to sign up and buy your tickets from Hope at our next m2m meeting on October 6th.

Kick Like A Girl!

This is an awesome Christian karate studio! We have a blast here, and if I can figure out the arrangements for a sitter every wednesday for the next 8 weeks, I am there. Anyone is welcome to join so come on out ladies and Kick Like A Girl! If you miss the 1st class due to short notice, you should still be good and be able to catch up ;) Hope to see you there! m2m Friendlies continued!

Do you ever run into that fabulous friend when you are rushing about trying to get your errands done before your kiddos totally fall apart? You know, that one that greets you with a smile and a hug that makes you totally feel special in that very moment! And that brief moment follows you through the day and her contagious smile reminds you of all the joy the day has to offer. Well, I do! And she totally without knowing, made my afternoon. It was a brief passing; 2 mommies on a mission, but it was much needed and just plain fun. Who doesn't love hugs and gorgeous smiles from her peeps unexpectedly? She is gonna love that I used fabulous and peeps in the same paragraph, cuz' that is just the kind of gal she is. She loves her man like he is her highschool sweetheart, and she dotes on her children pouring out her affection in every way. She is an inspiration to many of us at m2m and she is another amazing table leader that you could have the opportunity of meeting if you join us at Cornerstone m2m! She is unforgettable and has so much love and happy energy to share that anyone who gets to sit with her is going to be crazy blessed for a year!

Friendlies at m2m

Frendlies at m2m are awesome...I can say I have the best team a girl could ever ask for! The ladies that serve here are hand picked, by The Lord of course! I want to send a little shout out to one of these ladies today...who knows, maybe you will be lucky enough to end up at her table this year! I am going to keep these little features anonymous, although as the team gets to know each other more and more, they may be able to start guessing who I am talking about ;)

So this sweet chickadee is way thoughtful, and I don't say that lightly, I mean she really strives to know who people really are and she shows random acts of kindness like it is going out of style. I totally got the cutest card from her with my favorite coupons tucked inside! Yeah, I know, right! You sooooo want a friend like this! If you show up at m2m she will greet you with a soft and loving smile, and by the end of the 1st meeting she will be mulling around trying to figure out who you are and how she can bless you ;) In my card also came a cute page of snipits from a magazine, and she wrote "... And  a little something to make you laugh." This was my favorite post from the baby bloopers page she sent me:

"After putting my 11-month-old down for a nap, I wlaked to the living room where my 2-year-old, Landon was playing and told him I needed some peace and quiet. He held up a puzzle piece and said, "here is a piece, and I will be quiet.""

Yup, she did it....I totally laughed out loud!

Thanks Friend, for always being there, and especially for being there in the everyday moments when I think I have had enough and making me laugh so that I can push through the rest of the day. I look forward to as many more years as the Lord will let us keep you!

Hello Garage Sale!

FREE Infant CPR!

Join us this Friday, July 22nd 2011 at 1pm for a free (non-cert) infant CPR class led by Tom Tisdale. Tom is Cornerstone's lead Chaplain and was in his earlier years a Fireman! He has loads of advice, and is super fun as well as thorough. Come and learn what to do in an emergency for your littest loves. This is a fabulous opportunity and it is absolutely free. Ordinarily these classes begin at $50! Class will be held in the cornerstone youth chapel. Space is limited so please call Amber at (951) 970-4627 asap!

Recycle for Haiti

This is a fabulous opportunity to take your kids on a tour of the recycle center and recycle your own goods! How often do you get paid to go on a field trip!
